Here are some of the most frequently asked questions, along with our answers, but if there's something you'd like to know that doesn't appear in the list below, please just ask one of us and we'll be happy to help!

How do I book an apartment?

First of all, complete one of our booking request forms or send us an email to info@bcn-rentals.com. If you know which apartment you'd like then go directly here. If you have your dates set, and just want us to suggest a few options, then fill in the quick search form at the right hand side of this page and we'll get straight back to you. If you prefer to speak to someone about the booking, then give us a call on 0034 687256962 at anytime (we don't have normal office hours so someone will always be here to attend your needs - you can call 365 days a year). We'll get back to you immediately with the information you need.

Once we've given you the availability, you can book directly on line with our secure payment page - 100% safe and quick. Then we'll send you confirmation back to your email, along with the contract, directions and instructions of what to do when you arrive, etc. We want the booking of your apartment to go as smoothly as possible, so we have geared our site and staff to be the most friendly & helpful people you can hope to find!

Are sheets and towels provided?

Yes, good quality bed linen and fresh towels are already provided in all the apartments. Basic soaps and hair dryers are also provided in most apartments, or one can normally be borrowed.

How do we get from the airport to the apartment?

Upon booking, we will send you full information on the best way to make your way to the apartment from the different surrounding airports. Taxi transfers can be arranged by us to collect you in the airport and drop you at the door of your apartment - please ask for details. Alternatively, if you are arriving by car, train or boat/ferry, we also give detailed instructions or can help plan your arrival.

How far away is Barcelona/Girona/Reus airport from the city centre ?

Barcelona El Prat airport is only about 20 minutes in a taxi away from the city. Girona airport is about 1 hour and 20 minutes away, but has good connections to Barcelona city. And Reus? Reus is also around 1 hour and 20 minutes away, and also has a bus.

How do we get the keys to the apartment?

One of our representatives will meet you personally at the apartment to drop off the keys and collect a returnable deposit of 200 Euros. They will also have maps and local information for you and be able to answer any questions and point you in the right direction of the local shops, etc.

How many sets of keys are there per apartment ?

Usually 2 or 3 sets of keys are left for the guests, but in most of the bigger apartments every single person will have their own sets of keys.

Our flight gets in quite late - how will I get into the apartment?

It doesn't matter what time you get into Barcelona - we will always meet you at the apartment, at a pre-arranged time (some apartments until midnight). You will have a contact number to call once you arrive - just call us, and we'll meet you at the apartment, regardless of the time. However, if you need a check-in outside of 9pm, there is a surcharge to be paid to the person who meets you to open the door. See terms and conditions for details.

Can you recommend places to see, eat out, visit, party, etc. ?

Of course! If we can help with anything to make your stay a more welcome one, please just ask! We can recommend the best clubs and bars, the best seafood restaurants, the best way to get around the city, etc. We have experienced staff here, happy to help with any query and to help you make the most of your stay here in the city!

Is the apartment cleaned during my stay ?

No - the apartments are generally only cleaned between reservations, but if you want a cleaner to come and clean during your stay, this can be arranged at an extra cost.

What time is Check-in and Check-out?

Check-in is at 14:00h. If the apartment is unoccupied the day of your arrival, you can check-in straight away. Even if there is a group leaving the same day as you arrive and you arrive earlier than 14:00, we can usually make arrangements to meet you at the apartment, or leave luggage with us. Check-out is at 10:00am, but again, if there is no booking for the same day as you leave, you can usually stay as long as needed, or we can usually help to store luggage.

Do I have to pay for Electricity, Gas, Water consumption ?

No, this is included in the price we give you. There are no hidden charges - the price we give you covers absolutely everything.

Do the apartments have a safety deposit box?

No, but the apartment is your home during your stay here and you will have your own keys to the apartments, so you can feel happy leaving you possessions in the apartment, once you have locked the door - the same as your own home.

Can I bring my pet?

Some apartments allow small, well-behaved pets but to be sure, please just make sure to enquire first.

Is it possible for you to provide a baby cot?

Yes, this is usually no problem, and it's free of charge. Please let us know in advance so that we can arrange this.
